Do you require a deposit?
Yes! I will be requiring a deposit this year. A $50 payment is needed to hold your session date, and it goes toward your total! This simply helps me keep my calendar organized and ensures your spot is fully reserved. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation! The remaining balance will be due on the day of your session!
How do I book my session?
You will start by filling out the senior contact form! Once that is filled out, I will reach out to you with a response, a link to my booking calendar & everything else you will need!
Will we be able to chat before my session?
Of course! We will definitely connect a few weeks before your session. I will set up a quick FaceTime, Zoom, or phone call so we can talk through the plan - your outfits, location ideas, overall style, and anything else you want to include! This gives us a chance to both feel prepared, ask any questions & most importantly make certain that your session will be exactly what you’re hoping for!
Who picks the locations?
YOU get the freedom to choose! But, if you are feeling stuck, need ideas or just want to leave the planning to me, that is totally fine! I am always here to help you find your ideal location & match your vibe! I want your experience to be just perfect for you!
What should I wear?
When it comes to outfits, you can never go wrong with solid & neutral colors. It is also so important that make sure that you feel comfortable and confident in your outfit! Make sure it is something that you will wear many more times, not just once for your photos! If you need any advice, I am more than happy to send you some inspiration or help you narrow down your outfits!
Can I bring someone with me?
Whatever makes you most comfortable works for me! Some seniors come by themselves to help allow them to be their most true and authentic selves during their session. This really is reflected in the photos! But if you are someone who is comfortable having others around, then I am good with that too! Whatever is going to make YOU feel most comfortable & be able to be yourself!
Do I get all my photos or do I have to buy them separately?
You get all of your photos in an online gallery! I do not do any ordering or images so, there are no hidden fees or extra charges. Once you receive your gallery, those photos are yours to keep, share, save & print forever!
Where will I change?
No need to worry! I have an awesome pop-up changing tent that comes everywhere with me! It allows you to be able to change right on the go and we won't have to worry about wasting time trying to find somewhere to change!
The weather is not what I was hoping for?
I understand it can be disappointing when the weather isn’t ideal conditions, but unfortunately it’s completely out of my control. And while I don’t have a lot of room for reschedules, cloudy or overcast days actually create some of the best light for photos! It is soft, flattering, and naturally modern. It truly is my favorite weather for shooting! Even a little rain can give your images unique texture and depth, so don't you worry, we will still capture beautiful, memorable shots no matter the conditions!
